 Alberta Government Supports:

Alberta Biz Connect -Workplace guidance and supports to help businesses and non-profits affected by COVID-19 begin to reopen and resume operations safely

Workplace Guidance for Business Owners -developed to support businesses (excluding health care settings) still permitted to operate by Order 07-2020 in reducing the risk of transmission of COVID-19 among workers, volunteers and patrons.

Alberta Employment Standards Rules -Laws for minimum wage, overtime, holidays, job-protected leaves, vacations, hours of work, earnings, youth workers and termination.

Federal Supports:

Small Medium Enterprise Relaunch Grant - The Government of Alberta has launched a grant that provides financial assistance to small and medium-sized businesses, cooperatives, and non-profit organizations directly ordered to temporarily close or substantially curtail operations through Public Health Orders of the Chief Medical Officer of Alberta as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
